What we've been up to...

Good morning, sorry its been a while.

Tammy has created an adorable knitted raspberry cupcake beanie/cap/hat, and a hand crocheted, multi pink puffy star afghan/coverlet/blanket for a little girl.  I am working on a new hand crocheted Easter Bunny beanie/cap/hat & diaper cover & an adorable little Mouse beanie/cap/hat, diaper cover, skirt & Mary Jane shoes that resembles Disney's Minnie Mouse.  I will post pics later today.

Also, our friend Babs added some cute little knit baby beanie/cap/hats with tassels, some crocheted potholder sets, a knit beanie/cap/hat & scarf , and a sunset/sunrise scarf.  Oh, I almost forgot - a towel set that is monogrammed with cross stitch.

Here are the cocoons and afghans I've been working on...hand crocheted lacy stitch cocoon/photography props in tan and navy blue. Hand crocheted granny ripple in 6 shades of purple/black, the start of same in shades of red/black and a king size granny/ripple in bubble gum pink, mauve, and burgundy/black

So, I thought I would start sharing some of my cooking along with our crafts....this is a super e z spaghetti sauce throw it in the crock pot and viola
1# ground chuck
1/2# ground sausage (italian or breakfast)
1/2 green bell pepper
2 garlic cloves
1/2 onion
1 can of spaghetti sauce (your choice)
1 can of diced italian style tomatoes
brown meat ,dice vegetables, season salt, garlic powder (just a dab) when nice and brown drain...open cans throw it all in the crock pot on low and leave it....serve over noodles of your choice or rice

Crochet/knitting & sewing growing ....sales

Good morning, sorry for not blogging...through no fault of my own I was unable to blog for a few days....comcast at it's finest....We are doing great, I am working on orders that I received through posts on craigslist, and ebay...afghans multi/black granny/ripple. So far, it is the over all favorite in our inventory ; ) one is kingsize with bubblegum pink, mauve and burgundy with matching pillow shams. The others are multi purple/black & multi red/black. I finished the multi purple I will post pics later. I will start on the multi red today and the king size is a project in the works...I have to finish the skirting and pillow shams, their was a slight delay because I am working with the customer via email to create this (waiting for her input and approval before I go further) Woke up this morning to our first sale on Bonanza ; ) it is a black beanie/beret/cap/hat/slouch/tam that can be worn a variety of ways. I finished it up this morning as well as renewing posts on craigslist, and posting Tammy's exquisite hand knitted frilly fashion scarf additions, rainbow, pink & green, and blue with neutral colors. I already cleaned the house & started dinner...I put a pork roast in the crock pot cut up half an onion, 5 scallions, 2 cloves of garlic, sprinkled with garlic powder and seasoning salt and added a package of instant mushroom gravy mix oh and a dash of worchestshire sauce....low heat. Later I will cook some white rice and frozen brocolli and cauliflour mix and viola we have a meal. it is 11am my "work" is done...I will now settle in with my crocheting and enjoy the rest of my day

Good morning, I have started a hand crocheted bumble bee diaper cover and beanie/cap/hat...it's adorable (in my mind) I will post pics as soon as I get finished.

I had another photographer contact me re: hand crocheted photography props ; ) We are so excited!!!! She wants several of the baby basket cocoons. I had a repeat order from a lady that has already purchased a multi-blue/black granny/ripple afghan/lapghan & a multi-pink/white afghan lapghan (48" x 48" size) she now wants a purple/black & red/black afghan/lapghan...I'm not sure whether she wants them multi-purple & multi-red I will keep you updated.

Well, I better get busy, I still need to update facebook and bonanza.  As always, any comments, questions or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Romance, lace, frills, fashion -- scarves!

Home Depot sells craft supplies?

Sorry I'm posting so late...been busy reposting things....I HAVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT THIS!!!!!! I went to Home Depot yesterday with David and found the greatest invention...it's a light you strap around your head...I don't think it's really meant for us crafters but, if you are like me (almost 50 failing eyesight) it is hard on the eyes to work with darker colors...I"M so EXCITED!!!!! I suffer from migraines and I aggravate it trying to work in dim light.it's a 7 LED headlight. $5 for 2 on clearance none the less we all love bargains.

Now, on to progress...I made a royal blue hand crocheted lacy pattern beanie/beret/cap/hat/slouch/tam. I sold a light pink beanie/cap/hat. Tammy made several new frilly knit scarves...pink/green, rainbow, blue/neutral, another silver and 2 more knitted beanie/cap/hats blue and a confetti cupcake...I will have to upload the rest of the pics later this old pc is tired I guess.

New relationships

Good morning!  I met with Crystal, a photographer that I have been communicating with on line. She absolutely loved the hand crocheted baby basket cocoon, stork pouch she had originally ordered from me. She also purchased a grey beanie/beret/cap/hat/slouch/tam & a black & yellow dolly & me poncho & hat set...she wants me to make everything I can before 2/11/12 she has an event planned for families with small children and she is hoping that if I come and bring my creations it will be good business for both of us.

I also started a king size granny square/ripple bedspread that a really nice lady named Connie ordered from me (off craigslist) she wants bubble gum pink, mauve, burgundy & black larger than my original king size that lays flat on top of the bed, she wants hers to hang down to a bed skirt/dust ruffle & she has ordered 4 pillow shams to match....so, this will be a new adventure for me & her because, I will share photos as I create to get her opinions. There is nothing better than a satisfied customer...friend....she is also an entrepeneur of jewelry....We all love jewelry ; )
