I'm a survivor!

Tammy & I each finished an afghan today.  We started on Saturday at about the same time.  It's so much fun to crochet "with" my sister even though we are miles apart.  It's as if we are sitting there together, contacting each other with progress or, God forbid, problems with our progress.   ; )

I am a 20 year breast cancer survivor.  I mention this because at Christmas time, I created the previously posted angel awareness ribbon ornament/gift tags - started with pink for breast cancer, made others in teal for ovarian cancer, pearl/white for lung cancer, burgundy for brain aneurism, purple for pancreatic cancer, etc.  I had a few people ask me to create one for Valentine;'s Day, gift giving with a heart.  I did it!  So I now have a pink breast cancer awareness ornament/gift tag posted to both Knoxville & Ft. Myers Craigslist & my Yardsellr.  I posted them along with a picture of several angel awareness ribbon ornaments that were made for Christmas for $2.50 each.  I will donate a portion of each sale to research/charity as I did with the angels.  The good thing is neither has to be for a specific holiday - angels and hearts are always welcome.  ; )  I will make any color/cause the customer (or my friends/family) would like.

I think tomorrow I will make a heart garland and/or heart poncho.  Any ideas?  The day was pretty productive.

Until tomorrow, God bless & keep you.
